CSA Construction Manager \n Data Centre Project \n Blyth, Northumberland \n Salary:- £85,000 - £90,000 + package \n \n Our client is a leading dedicated data centre delivery partner, providing full turnkey solutions from design through to construction and commissioning. Headquartered in Dublin and delivering projects across Europe, they have built a reputation as one of the most trusted names in the sector. \n An opportunity has arisen for a CSA Construction Manager on a major data centre project in Portugal. This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing the delivery of Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) work packages on a fast-track, highly technical project. \n \n The successful candidate will be an experienced construction leader with a proven track record of developing and leading teams to deliver projects to the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction. \n \n The Role \n\n • Lead and manage the CSA team (supervisors, engineers, and package managers) to ensure successful delivery of all CSA scope.\n, • Oversee site safety in conjunction with the Project Manager and Safety Team, embedding a strong culture of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental excellence.\n, • Coordinate and monitor procurement, design, engineering, and installation of CSA works.\n, • Develop a delivery strategy for CSA work packages, supporting the commercial team in preparing scope documents and subcontract packages.\n, • Review client designs, identify discrepancies or deviations from standards, and lead resolution to protect contractual and commercial interests.\n, • Work closely with QA/QC teams to develop and manage site quality plans, ensuring compliance with project requirements.\n, • Manage day-to-day site operations, including subcontractor performance, resource allocation, and progress tracking.\n, • Develop, manage, and report on project schedules in conjunction with Planning, Project Management, and subcontractors.\n, • Liaise with the design team to prioritise and issue required construction information in line with programme demands.\n, • Chair and host weekly progress meetings with CSA subcontractors, ensuring accurate documentation and records are maintained.\n, • Attend project meetings (internal reviews, design coordination, planning, handover) and provide clear reporting to management.\n, • Oversee project close-out activities including punch lists, safety files, QA documentation, and handover requirements.\n, • Support commercial meetings, ensuring all variations are captured and communicated to enable accurate client change management.\n, • Review drawings and setting-out information, and ensure coordination of builders' works drawings related to MEP services.\n, • Prepare and issue daily and weekly project reports.\n\n \n Requirements \n\n • Relevant construction-related degree, equivalent qualification, or relevant experience.\n, • Proven experience as a CSA Construction Manager or in a similar senior role on large-scale construction projects – data centre experience highly desirable.\n, • Strong track record in managing and successfully delivering CSA work packages.\n, • Ability to maintain oversight of the overall project while managing technical details.\n, • Experience in project scheduling, programming, sequencing, and producing look-ahead forecasts.\n, • Demonstrated success in leading and managing internal construction teams.\n, • Experience delivering large-scale, fast-track, and technically complex projects.\n, • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.\n\n \n What's on Offer \n\n • Work on some of Europe's largest and most advanced data centre developments.\n, • Join a rapidly growing organisation at the forefront of the digital infrastructure sector.\n, • Excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development.\n, • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.\n, • Collaborative, supportive, and high-performance team environment.\n, • Opportunity to contribute to landmark projects shaping the future of digital infrastructure across Europe.\n\n \n Our client is an equal opportunities employer. \n
