We are looking for an experienced Laundry Assistant to join our busy professional laundry and dry-cleaning operation. Key Responsibilities • Sorting and preparing garments for cleaning, • Operating commercial washing and drying machines, • Loading and unloading laundry equipment, • Ironing, pressing, folding and finishing garments, • Checking garments for stains, damage and quality, • Preparing completed orders for delivery, • Maintaining a clean and organised working environment, • Following company procedures and health & safety standards Requirements • Previous professional laundry experience is essential, • Experience with commercial laundry equipment, • Good understanding of garment handling and different fabric types, • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, • Strong attention to detail and quality, • Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team Experience in hotel laundry, guest laundry, dry cleaning or commercial laundry operations would be an advantage.
