The role offers a competitive salary alongside an excellent benefits package, including flexi-time, private healthcare and a bonus scheme. \n \n What you’ll be doing: \n\n • Planning and carrying out experiments, analysis and development work to support effective technology transfer and process development.\n, • Recording, interpreting and presenting data in line with relevant regulatory and quality standards.\n, • Communicating with clients and internal teams to support project delivery.\n, • Following laboratory procedures and protocols to ensure work is completed safely, effectively and to a high-quality standard.\n, • Troubleshooting scaled-up processes and supporting continuous improvement across development activities.\n, • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business while maintaining full compliance with regulatory, quality and health and safety requirements.\n\n \n What we’re looking for: \n\n • A degree or higher degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related scientific discipline.\n, • Relevant industry, academic or research experience in a laboratory environment.\n, • Knowledge of process development, protein structure and function would be beneficial.\n, • Experience with protein purification techniques such as Tangential Flow Filtration, AKTA, chromatography or filtration would be advantageous.\n, • Knowledge of protein analytical techniques, including UV/VIS and HPLC, would be useful.\n, • Experience in drug development, pharmaceutical or biotech environments would be desirable, but is not essential.\n\n \n This role would suit someone with strong scientific curiosity, a practical approach to problem solving and an interest in applying their chemistry or biochemistry knowledge within a growing manufacturing environment.
