Our Employment Placement Programme supports candidates who are struggling to secure accounting roles by providing practical work experience, career support, interview preparation and assistance with securing employment opportunities. We are now looking for a confident, motivated Sales Associate to join our growing team and speak with candidates who have already expressed an interest in progressing their accounting careers. The Role This is primarily a consultative sales role. You will speak with prospective candidates, understand their current situation and career goals, explain how our Employment Placement Programme works and help suitable candidates decide whether the programme is right for them. You will be working with predominantly warm leads and booked consultations, rather than spending your day cold calling random prospects. Your responsibilities will include: • Speaking with prospective candidates over the phone, • Conducting structured sales consultations, • Understanding candidates' current career challenges and goals, • Explaining the Employment Placement Programme clearly and confidently, • Handling questions and objections, • Following up with interested candidates, • Closing programme enrolments, • Keeping accurate notes and updating candidate records, • Working towards individual and team sales targets What We're Looking For You do not need an accounting background. We're looking for someone who is: • Confident and comfortable speaking on the phone, • Naturally persuasive without being overly pushy, • Able to build rapport quickly, • Comfortable discussing higher-value services, • Motivated by targets and results, • Resilient when dealing with objections, • Organised and reliable, • Comfortable working independently, • Hungry to improve their sales ability and earning potential Previous experience in sales, recruitment, telesales, appointment setting, business development or customer-facing roles would be beneficial. Working Hours Monday to Friday 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM This is a hybrid position based around Liverpool Street, London, combining office-based working with remote working. ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for an exceptional Office Manager to join our growing London team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support across different functions, and will play a crucial role in continuing to develop our company culture by making the Acurable office a welcoming place to work and visit. WHAT YOU WILL DO • Develop and implement new administrative processes and systems to improve the efficiency of recurrent tasks., • Maintain company policies, documentation, and compliance calendars., • Manage people processes: onboarding/offboarding, HR records, recruitment support., • Provide administrative support to all departments, including publishing job openings and setting up interviews, on-boarding new employees and organising team events, booking travel and arranging couriers, both domestic and international., • Support the operations department with storage of equipment, fulfilment of customer orders and triage of inbound customer enquiries and requests., • Maintain the condition of the office and project manage the search for and move to new office premises as the company grows., • Liaise with suppliers, landlords, and service providers to keep the office running smoothly., • Handle light finance/admin tasks (e.g. expenses, invoices, petty cash) to keep operations tidy., • Help with logistics and organisation for company events and team culture initiatives., • Be the “go-to person” for all the little (and not so little) things that keep the company running.
