About the Company \n \n Our client is a leading global technology-driven supply chain, logistics, and e-commerce platform, operating across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia. \n \n The company is listed on NASDAQ and ranked among the Fortune Global 500, serving a large number of e-commerce customers worldwide. As part of its long-term international growth strategy, the business continues to make significant investments across Europe and is rapidly expanding its logistics infrastructure and operational footprint. \n \n Today, the company has established teams across the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, and other European markets, with ongoing expansion plans across the region. \n \n About the Role \n \n We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to support the continued expansion of our logistics and warehousing network in the UK. The ideal candidate combines strong procurement fundamentals with commercial judgement, cost analysis and end-to-end ownership. You should be comfortable operating in a fast-growing environment where procurement is expected to actively identify solutions rather than simply execute established procedures. \n \n Key Responsibilities \n \n\n • Manage end-to-end procurement activities related to warehouse sites, facilities and logistics operations, from requirement clarification and sourcing through commercial negotiation, contracting and delivery.\n, • Support procurement activities associated with warehouse leasing and site-related requirements, working with relevant internal and external stakeholders.\n, • Conduct cost analysis, price benchmarking, bid comparison and commercial evaluation to support sourcing and investment decisions.\n, • Develop sourcing strategies, identify suitable suppliers and service providers, manage RFQ/RFP processes and lead commercial negotiations.\n, • Assess supplier proposals beyond headline pricing, considering total cost, commercial terms, service capability, operational requirements and potential risks.\n, • Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Legal and other cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective procurement solutions.\n, • Manage suppliers throughout the procurement lifecycle and ensure agreed commercial and operational requirements are delivered.\n, • Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, process improvement and supplier consolidation.\n, • Take ownership of procurement projects in situations where requirements or processes may not yet be fully standardised.\n, • Support the continued development of procurement processes and capabilities as the company's UK logistics network expands.\n\n \n Candidate Profile \n \n\n • Solid experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or category management, ideally within logistics, e-commerce, retail, industrial or other operationally complex environments.\n, • Experience related to warehouse sites, facilities, real estate procurement, site procurement or logistics operations would be highly relevant.\n, • Strong experience in cost analysis, commercial evaluation, benchmarking and supplier negotiation.\n, • Demonstrated ability to manage procurement projects end-to-end, rather than focusing only on individual stages of the sourcing process.\n, • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to evaluate different sourcing options in complex or less-standardised situations.\n, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving organisation where processes may still be developing.\n, • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively across procurement, operations, engineering, finance and other functions.\n, • Proactive, hands-on and solutions-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership.\n, • Fluent English communication skills.\n\n \n Why Join? \n This is an opportunity to play an important role in the continued development of a rapidly expanding logistics network in the UK and Europe. You will have significant exposure to cross-functional stakeholders and the opportunity to take ownership of complex procurement projects while helping shape procurement practices for a growing international business.
