Position: Part-Time Housekeeper
Location: Northampton
Hours: 15–20 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented part-time Housekeeper to maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout a an early years setting in Northampton.
Completing daily cleaning duties alongside scheduled weekly and monthly deep-cleaning tasks. The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently and take pride in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean rooms, washrooms and communal areas.
- Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors.
- Clean and disinfect surfaces and high-touch areas.
- Empty bins and replenish hygiene supplies.
- Complete weekly and monthly deep-cleaning tasks.
- Maintain cleaning records and report any concerns.
- Leave all areas clean, tidy and secure.
Requirements:
- At least three years’ professional cleaning experience.
- Experience in hotels, accommodation, schools, nurseries, healthcare or similar settings is preferred.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Good understanding of hygiene and health and safety standards.
- Available for 15–20 hours per week, Monday–Friday.
- Right to work in the UK.
