Role: Wills & Probate Solicitor / Legal Executive Location: Wakefield Working Pattern: Hybrid Working Available Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 DOE Contract: Full-time, Permanent \n Are you an experienced Wills & Probate Solicitor or Legal Executive looking to join a growing law firm where you can play an important part in the continued development of its Private Client offering? \n CRA Consulting are working with a fast-growing Wakefield-based law firm that is looking to strengthen its Private Client team with the appointment of an experienced Wills & Probate lawyer. \n This is a great opportunity for somebody who enjoys managing their own caseload but wants to be part of an ambitious and developing practice rather than simply becoming another fee earner within a large department. \n The firm can offer a salary of £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience, alongside hybrid working and genuine opportunities for longer-term progression. \n Why this opportunity stands out \n The firm has experienced strong growth and is continuing to invest in its legal teams. \n For the right individual, this represents an opportunity to join at an exciting stage of that development and have a genuine impact on the future growth of the Private Client offering. \n You'll benefit from: \n\n • Salary of £40,000 - £55,000 DOE\n, • Hybrid working available\n, • Established and growing client base\n, • Autonomy over your own caseload\n, • Supportive working environment\n, • Opportunity to develop alongside a growing firm\n, • Genuine longer-term career progression\n\n The Role \n You will manage a varied Private Client caseload and provide high-quality advice to individuals and families across a range of matters. \n Your caseload is likely to include: \n\n • Drafting Wills\n, • Probate and estate administration\n, • Intestacy matters\n, • Lasting Powers of Attorney\n, • Trust matters\n, • Estate planning\n, • Inheritance Tax considerations\n, • Advising executors and beneficiaries\n, • General later-life planning\n\n You'll take responsibility for your matters from initial instruction through to completion while developing strong relationships with clients and professional contacts. \n There will also be the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the department through networking, referrals and business development. \n What we're looking for \n Applications are welcomed from: \n\n • Qualified Solicitors\n, • Chartered Legal Executives\n, • Experienced Wills & Probate lawyers with an equivalent level of experience\n\n You should ideally have: \n\n • Previous experience managing your own Wills & Probate caseload\n, • Strong knowledge of Private Client law and procedure\n, • Experience dealing with estate administration\n, • Excellent drafting skills\n, • Strong client-care abilities\n, • The confidence to manage matters with limited supervision\n, • Good organisational and time-management skills\n, • A commercial and practical approach\n, • An interest in developing long-term client relationships\n\n Experience across the wider Private Client spectrum, including trusts, tax planning or more complex estates, would be particularly welcomed. \n The opportunity \n This role would particularly suit somebody who enjoys Private Client work but wants to join a firm with ambition. \n Rather than stepping into a static position, you'll be joining a business that is growing and looking to further develop its presence in the Wakefield legal market. \n There is plenty of scope for an experienced lawyer to bring their own ideas, build relationships and become an important part of the department as it develops.
