Experteer Overview As Global Category Manager – Direct Procurement, you steer the Packaging category across multiple countries, balancing tactical execution with strategic direction. You collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure reliable supply and drive long-term sourcing decisions. The role blends supplier management, market insight, and cost optimization to support HARTMANN’s healthcare mission. You will shape category strategies, lead negotiations, and ensure compliance in a multicultural setting with a strong emphasis on cross-border alignment. Compensaciones / Beneficios • Lead procurement and supplier management for the Packaging category within Direct Procurement • Engage division stakeholders to define supplier requirements and capture change requests • Maintain direct material KPIs to optimize procurement performance and sourcing metrics • Achieve procurement targets including total sourcing costs for the category • Define and execute category strategy and strategic sourcing initiatives • Lead VAT, design-to-cost, and total cost of ownership (TCO) projects • Perform supplier management across phases: evaluate, classify, develop, and phase-out • Conduct procurement market research and identify supplier innovations • Implement risk management for materials and suppliers • Oversee negotiation and contract award processes with stakeholders • Ensure SOPs, work instructions, guidelines, and legal requirements are followed, with focus on Master Data and documentation Responsabilidades • University degree in Business Administration with purchasing/procurement releases • Experience in a similar position • Negotiation skills • Fluency in English Requisitos principales • hybrid teleworking • flexible hours • health insurance • training tickets • development plan • employee store discounts
