Event Production Intern Location: Barcelona (with availability to travel) Department: Events Reports to: Events Manager Contract type: Internship contract (contrato de prácticas) Pro Expo is an international event production company based in Barcelona, working mainly across Europe. We produce a wide range of events, including trade show stands and side events, brand activations, and corporate events for clients across different industries. We're looking for an Events Intern to join our Events team in Barcelona under an internship contract (contrato de prácticas). You'll support the team in preparing proposals and coordinating the production of multiple events, both in Spain and internationally. This is a hands-on internship for someone who wants to develop their career in event production and gain practical experience working with suppliers, venues, clients, and production partners across Europe. Responsibilities • Support the preparation of client proposals, budgets, and event documentation., • Research, contact, and coordinate with suppliers, including venues, catering, technical production, transport, and other event services., • Request and compare quotations and follow up with suppliers., • Help keep multiple ongoing event proposals and projects organized and on schedule., • Support the team in identifying and solving production challenges., • Assist with administrative tasks and event documentation., • Support the team during event production when required. Requirements • Recently completed university degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, Communications, Event Management, or a related field., • Ability to enter into an internship agreement with a university or educational institution, if required., • Availability for a full-time internship (8- hours per day)., • Minimum availability of 4 months., • Fluent Spanish and English, both spoken and written., • Some previous exposure to events, production, or production assistance is highly valued., • Highly organized and comfortable working on several projects simultaneously., • Strong communication skills and confidence when dealing with suppliers., • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset., • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team., • Availability to travel occasionally.
