THE I/O Marbella is looking for a Deputy Manager to join our leadership team.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with a strong fitness background who is ready to step into broader club management. Working closely with the Club Manager, you will help lead daily operations across the club while taking direct ownership of the fitness department, its people, its standards, and its results. We're seeking a proactive and professional individual with solid experience in fitness management, personal training, or sports team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Support the Club Manager in the day-to-day running of the club, deputising in their absence.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the team of personal trainers and group instructors.
- Maintain operational excellence across the fitness area and wider club, ensuring a premium environment for all members.
- Oversee and coordinate personal training and group class schedules.
- Analyse results, statistics, and KPIs to propose continuous improvements.
- Act as an ambassador for THE I/O, conveying enthusiasm, hospitality, and a sense of community.
- Ensure club facilities are always maintained to the highest standards.
Requirements / What we offer
- 3–5 years of experience in fitness or club management, including team leadership and personal training.
- Professional certifications in fitness, personal training, or related disciplines.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
- High level of English and Spanish (additional languages are a plus).
- Positive attitude, energy, and passion for the fitness and wellness industry.
