About A2B's Client: Our client is a well-established, global organization operating within the renewable energy and infrastructure space, supporting the delivery of large-scale projects across globally. As the business continues to grow rapidly, they are looking for a Sr Manager, Global Demand Planning to lead and develop their global demand planning capability from their Madrid office. This role will be responsible for driving forecasting excellence, strengthening Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), and partnering with senior stakeholders to support strategic business decisions across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Commercial and Finance. Role Overview As the Senior Manager, Global Demand Planning, you will be responsible for leading the organisation’s global demand planning function, establishing the processes, governance and analytical framework that support accurate forecasting and effective Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP). Working closely with senior stakeholders across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Commercial and Finance, you will translate commercial demand into actionable planning insights, enabling the business to make informed strategic decisions while balancing demand, capacity and operational performance across multiple regions. This is a highly visible leadership position with responsibility for driving planning excellence, improving forecasting accuracy and leading a global team. Key Responsibilities Include: • Lead the global monthly demand planning process across multiple regions, business units and product lines., • Own and continuously improve demand planning processes, governance and forecasting standards., • Drive the Demand Review process within the wider S&OP framework., • Develop rolling demand forecasts to support short, medium and long-term business objectives., • Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance and Operations to deliver an aligned demand plan., • Analyse market trends, customer demand and commercial inputs to identify business risks and opportunities., • Develop scenario planning models to support strategic supply chain and business decisions., • Build executive dashboards and reporting to improve visibility across demand, capacity and overall business performance., • Challenge planning assumptions through data-driven analysis and recommend mitigation strategies where required., • Drive continuous improvement through process standardisation, automation and planning best practices., • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Global Demand Planning team. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or a related discipline. Master’s degree or MBA preferred., • 15+ years’ experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, S&OP or a related planning function., • Proven experience leading planning processes within a complex global manufacturing environment., • Previous people management experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams., • Strong analytical capability with experience translating data into strategic business decisions., • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership across multiple business functions., • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience using planning/reporting tools such as Power BI, Anaplan, SAP IBP, Kinaxis or similar. Preferred Experience: • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification., • Experience within advanced manufacturing, industrial, infrastructure, renewable energy or other complex global supply chain environments., • Experience leading planning transformation, process improvement and digital planning initiatives.
