Events Manager (Full-Time) Location: Los Angeles Preferred Our Brand Team is seeking an Events Manager to bring Blume to life through events, retail activations, partnerships, and community experiences. As the owner of our experiential marketing program, you'll create meaningful moments that connect communities, strengthen relationships with our retail and brand partners, and turn first-time sippers into lifelong brand fans. Your mission is to make every in-person interaction with Blume feel thoughtful, memorable, and unmistakably us. You're equal parts strategic thinker, relationship builder, and doer, just as comfortable analyzing event performance as you are setting up a booth in an arena or chatting with customers at a sampling table. Key Responsibilities Experiential Marketing & Community Events (25%) • Lead the planning and execution of Blume's experiential marketing program across consumer events, pop-ups, brand activations, trade shows, and community experiences, creating meaningful moments that drive awareness, product trial, and long-term brand love., • Develop quarterly experiential marketing calendars aligned with product launches, seasonal campaigns, retail priorities, and key marketing moments., • Plan and execute consumer-facing events and large-scale activations across Vancouver, Toronto, and Los Angeles that introduce Blume to new audiences and create memorable brand experiences., • Concept, plan, and execute community events that surprise and delight our existing customers while strengthening brand affinity and loyalty., • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure experiential initiatives support broader business objectives, • Collaborate with the Marketing team and external partners to amplify experiential campaigns across social media, email, website, and creator channels before, during, and after each activation., • Manage multiple experiential projects simultaneously, ensuring activations are executed on time, on budget, and with exceptional attention to detail., • Develop post-event recaps and ongoing reporting with actionable insights and recommendations that improve future activations., • Own the experiential marketing budget, tracking spend, forecasting costs, and maximizing ROI across all programs., • Stay ahead of experiential and wellness marketing trends, identifying innovative opportunities to bring Blume to life in fresh and unexpected ways. Retail Demo Program (25%) • Own Blume's national in-store demo program across Canada and the US, driving product trial, awareness, and retail velocity., • Manage demo schedules to align with promotional periods, retailer priorities, and seasonal campaigns while continuously testing, learning, and doubling down on high-performing stores and markets., • Partner with the Sales team and key retail accounts to execute elevated store takeovers, launch events, and retail activations that support promotional periods, new product launches, and top-performing locations., • Own relationships with contracted brand ambassadors, demo agencies, and staffing partners, overseeing scheduling, training, equipment logistics, and performance management., • Analyze monthly demo performance by connecting sales and retail data to uncover insights, identify trends, and continuously optimize programming., • Collect and share qualitative feedback from demos, including merchandising opportunities, sell-through insights, consumer sentiment, and retailer feedback, to influence cross-functional decision-making., • Manage inventory, sampling materials, signage, and equipment to ensure every demo is executed seamlessly and aligns with product launches and marketing campaigns. Sampling Strategy (20%) • Build and scale Blume's sampling strategy beyond retail demos including events, partnerships, DTC and box inserts, campus/office seeding, and creator/community drops to drive trial across Canada and the U.S., • Identify new high-volume sampling channels and partners, testing and scaling the ones that convert into loyal customers., • Set clear KPIs for sampling programs (cost per sample, trial-to-purchase conversion, etc.) and report on performance to guide where to double down., • Manage sampling budget, inventory, and logistics in partnership with Operations to ensure programs run efficiently at scale., • Turn high-performing sampling programs into always-on, repeatable initiatives rather than one-off pushes. Partnerships (15%) • Build and maintain long-term relationships with partners, acting as Blume's go-to ambassador and ensuring every collaboration reflects our brand values and leaves partners excited to work with us again., • Identify new partnership opportunities by staying connected to cultural trends, community happenings, and brands that share our mission of making wellness kinder and more approachable., • Lead event partnership conversations from first outreach through execution, including pitching ideas, managing timelines, and coordinating cross-functional teams., • Source, negotiate, and manage event vendors, venues, production partners, and suppliers to deliver brand-forward experiences while maximizing value., • Track partnership performance and identify opportunities to grow high-impact relationships into long-term strategic collaborations. Trade Shows (15%) • Own Blume's trade show strategy and execution across Canada and the US, including CHFA, Expo West, and Newtopia Now., • Lead end-to-end planning for each show, including logistics, staffing, inventory, and on-site execution., • Partner closely with the Sales team to create engaging booth experiences that drive retailer, distributor, and industry relationships aligned to product launches., • Manage trade show budgets, timelines, vendors, and post-show follow-up to maximize ROI and identify opportunities for future growth. Qualifications • 3+ years of experience in experiential marketing, event marketing, field marketing, brand activations, partnerships, or a related marketing role., • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment., • Strong relationship builder who enjoys collaborating with agencies, vendors, retail partners, and cross-functional teams., • Analytical mindset with experience using data and reporting to measure performance and inform future decisions., • Comfortable traveling throughout Canada and the US and working occasional evenings and weekends to support events and activations., • Highly organized, proactive, and resourceful, with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude., • Passionate about wellness, community-building, and creating unforgettable brand experiences.
