    Position Summary The Registered Dietitian (RDN) will lead nutrition education, meal planning, and medically tailored meal (MTM) coordination for the Brownsville Wellness Program as part of the NYS 1115 Waiver Social Care Network. In addition to providing reimbursable SCN services, the RDN will also expand the BWP’s presence through community-based workshops, cooking demonstrations, and wellness partnerships that promote sustainable, culturally appropriate health behaviors in Brownsville and beyond. Key Responsibilities 1. SCN-Compliant Nutrition Services • Deliver individual and group-based nutrition counseling for Medicaid participants enrolled in the BWP., • Complete participant nutrition assessments to determine eligibility for MTMs and assist in customization of dietary plans., • Document all services in the SCN IT Platform, including service delivery, progress tracking, and participant feedback., • Collaborate with CHW and Program Manager to ensure that Social Care Plans align with medical nutrition therapy (MNT) goals. 1. Community-Based Education & Outreach • Develop and lead engaging, culturally tailored nutrition education workshops, including cooking classes, grocery store tours, and community nutrition programs., • Design content and curricula on chronic disease prevention (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, obesity), maternal health, and food literacy., • Represent BWP at health fairs, schools, and local partner sites (churches, housing developments) to promote healthful eating., • Collect feedback from participants and community members to continuously improve program offerings and increase relevance. 1. Program Expansion & Innovation • Support development of fee-for-service wellness programming, including, meal prep classes, and private consults., • Assist in piloting non-Medicaid nutrition services for broader community engagement., • Contribute to program design for grants related to maternal health, chronic disease prevention, and food justice. 1. Administrative & Collaborative Support • Maintain nutrition-related protocols, assessments, and reporting tools in compliance with NYS Department of Health and SCN guidelines., • Assist in procurement and planning for medically tailored meals and food distributions., • Provide mentorship or guidance to culinary students, volunteers, or interns as needed., • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and coalition activities as a key member of the BWP team. Required Skills & Qualifications • Current Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential and active NY State license required., • Minimum 2 years of experience in community nutrition, public health, or clinical counseling (experience with Medicaid populations preferred)., • Strong skills in group facilitation, nutrition education, and culturally responsive content development., • Familiarity with social determinants of health, food insecurity, and chronic disease management., • Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems, nutrition assessment tools, and/or referral platforms., • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and documentation skills. The Department of Psychiatry is seeking psychologists assigned to work in the CUIMC FPO. These are full-time, clinical positions in the Columbia Day Program. Primary responsibilities involve conducting group therapy utilizing empirically supported treatments, diagnostic/intake evaluations of adults, and individual treatment planning and progress monitoring with patients. Candidates should have previous experience providing outpatient treatment and working with a multi-disciplinary team. Experience and training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) preferred. Candidates with additional experience in evidence-supported treatment delivery for trauma and/or substance use are desired. Ideal applicants will have experience, familiarity and comfort working with high-risk patients, as well as young adults and college students.
