You don't need to be a solar expert. And you don't need to know how to close a deal. US Power Solar is hiring Entry-Level Solar Appointment Setters who are motivated, outgoing, and ready to learn. Your role is straightforward: Talk to homeowners. Introduce solar. Create interest. Set appointments. That's it. Our experienced Solar Consultants handle the full presentation, system recommendations, financing options, proposals, and closing. You set the appointment. Our team closes the sale. You get paid. When a qualified appointment you generate becomes a completed solar installation, you earn $1,000. NO EXPERIENCE? NO PROBLEM. Everyone has to start somewhere. We're more interested in your attitude, communication skills, consistency, and willingness to learn than a long sales résumé. You do NOT need to: • Have previous solar experience, • Have previous sales experience, • Design solar systems, • Explain complicated financing, • Create proposals, • Negotiate contracts, • Close solar deals We'll train you on what you need to know to get started. WHAT YOU'LL DO As an Entry-Level Solar Appointment Setter, you'll work in residential neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles and Southern California. Your primary goal is to identify interested homeowners and schedule qualified appointments with our Solar Consultants. Your responsibilities will include: • Connecting with homeowners in residential neighborhoods, • Starting friendly, professional conversations, • Introducing homeowners to solar and home energy solutions, • Asking basic qualifying questions, • Identifying homeowners interested in learning more, • Scheduling qualified appointments for Solar Consultants, • Collecting accurate homeowner and appointment information, • Entering leads and appointments into company systems, • Following up with interested homeowners when appropriate, • Working toward individual appointment goals, • Generating referrals and building your pipeline, • Representing US Power Solar professionally in the field This is a field-based appointment-setting and lead-generation role, so you should be comfortable approaching homeowners and starting conversations. You don't close the deal. You create the opportunity. WE'LL TEACH YOU HOW You don't need to walk in knowing everything about solar. US Power Solar provides training and support designed to help new Appointment Setters learn the fundamentals. Training includes: • Solar industry basics, • Professional onboarding, • Appointment-setting techniques, • How to approach homeowners, • Conversation starters, • Lead generation strategies, • Proven talking points and scripts, • Homeowner qualification, • Handling common objections, • Field training, • Ongoing coaching and mentorship We'll teach you solar. Every qualified appointment you generate that becomes a completed solar installation earns you: $1,000 COMMISSION For example: • 5 completed installations = $5,000, • 10 completed installations = $10,000, • 20 completed installations = $20,000 No commission cap. No income ceiling. The more successful opportunities you generate, the greater your potential earnings. Potential Annual Earnings: $80,000–$100,000+ High-performing Appointment Setters may have the potential to exceed $100,000 annually through consistent production. This is commission-only compensation. Earnings are performance-based and are not guaranteed. YOUR JOB IS TO SET THE APPOINTMENT — NOT CLOSE THE SALE Breaking into sales can be intimidating when companies expect you to know how to handle the entire sales process from day one. That's not what we're asking you to do. Your focus is on the beginning of the process: Start the conversation. Find interested homeowners. Ask basic qualifying questions. Schedule the appointment. Then our experienced team takes over. Our Solar Consultants handle the consultation and closing. Our operations team handles the solar project. You earn commission when your qualified appointment becomes a completed installation. This gives you the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of sales without having to become a full solar closer on day one. FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE + UNCAPPED COMMISSIONS As a 1099 Independent Contractor, you'll have flexibility in how you organize your work and build your pipeline.
