Community Habilitation (Com Hab)– OPWDD Self-Direction We are seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Community Habilitation (Com Hab) staff member to provide one-on-one support for an individual receiving OPWDD Self-Direction services in New York in their home. You will be trained in our social skill program. Responsibilities: * Support the individual in achieving personal goals outlined in their Life Plan. * Assist with community integration and participation in recreational activities. * Help build daily living, communication, and social skills. * Encourage independence while providing a safe and supportive environment. * Complete required documentation of services provided. Qualifications: * Experience working with individuals with autism is preferred. * Dependable, patient, compassionate, and professional. * Must meet OPWDD and Fiscal Intermediary (RCIL) hiring requirements, including any required background checks and training. Schedule: Day time full-time hours based on the individual's needs. Location: New York City (specific location available upon inquiry). Compensation: $27 an hour with health benefits, vacation, holiday, and sick pay.
