We are seeking a caring, responsible, and experienced Preschool Head Teacher to lead a classroom of young children ages 2-3 and 3-5 in a nurturing Montessori environment. The Head Teacher will create a prepared, respectful, and engaging classroom that encourages children’s independence, curiosity, and love of learning. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution., • New York State teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain certification)., • Experience teaching STEM, robotics, engineering, technology, computer science, or related subjects., • Strong classroom management and instructional skills., • Excellent communication and organizational skills., • Passion for equitable STEM education., • Lead the Robotics After-School Program and attend weekend competitions. Preferred, • Experience with VEX IQ,Minecraft, Arduino, or similar robotics platforms., • Experience coaching robotics teams or preparing students for STEM competitions., • Experience with project-based learning., • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. The math teacher applicants must be experienced in teaching several grade levels including middle, and high school math, as well as SAT math.
