Use salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process transactions efficiently. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations, ensuring all tools and workstations are properly sanitized after each client. Provide personalized consultations to understand client needs, recommend suitable styles or treatments, and communicate hair care advice effectively. Upsell retail products like hair care items, styling tools, and makeup applications to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue. Stay current with the latest trends in hair styling, coloring techniques, and barbering practices through ongoing education and industry research. Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in cosmetology, store management, and customer service to foster a collaborative environment. Skills Proficiency with salon management software such as MINDBODY for appointment booking and client management. Expertise in various hair care techniques including coloring, extensions, straight razor shaving, hair threading, and makeup application. Strong knowledge of sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Excellent communication skills for effective client consultation and building lasting relationships. Experience working in the beauty industry with a solid understanding of cosmetology principles and color theory. Ability to perform retail math for upselling products confidently while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
