What You Will Do As a Computer Sharing Assistant, you will participate in our distributed computing experiments by making an eligible computer available for approved computational tasks. Your responsibilities may include: • Allowing your computer to participate in distributed computing experiments., • Keeping the computer connected and available during agreed participation periods., • Running our provided application or computing software., • Following basic setup and participation instructions., • Monitoring the application and reporting technical issues when necessary., • Providing feedback about your experience with the distributed computing application., • Maintaining reasonable availability based on your chosen participation schedule. Requirements You do not need to be an AI or software engineering expert. We are primarily looking for candidates who: • Have access to a reasonably capable computer., • Have a reliable internet connection., • Are comfortable installing and running a provided application., • Can leave their computer available for computing tasks during agreed periods., • Can follow technical instructions., • Can communicate clearly about computer performance or technical issues., • Are interested in AI, distributed computing, cloud computing, or technology experiments. Basic computer knowledge is sufficient. Technical or programming experience is a plus but not required.
