You will work closely with internal teams to coordinate operational activities while ensuring Health & Safety procedures and Local Safety Instructions are followed at all times. You will also carry out quality and in-process checks, act as the site's Fire Precautions Manager and designated First Aider, and undertake any additional duties for which you are trained and competent. To succeed in this role, you will need previous experience working in a safety-critical environment. Experience within the railway, aviation, airports, engineering or a similar industry would be highly relevant. Previous Supervisor, Team Leader or equivalent experience is desirable, as is experience as a Train Carer. You will need strong communication and leadership skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow safety procedures accurately. You must also be comfortable undertaking physical and manual work when required and be a reliable team player who is willing to support other Train Presentation activities when Yard Protection duties are not required.
