Kitchen Assistant Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team. You will support the chefs and kitchen staff by helping to prepare food, maintain cleanliness, and ensure the kitchen operates efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping high standards of hygiene and food safety. Key Responsibilities ● Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients. ● Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment. ● Keep kitchen work areas clean, organised, and sanitised at all times. ● Receive, unpack, and store food deliveries correctly. ● Ensure food is stored according to food safety and hygiene regulations. ● Remove rubbish and recycle waste in line with company procedures. ● Support chefs during busy service periods. ● Follow all health and safety, food hygiene, and company policies. ● Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Kitchen Manager or Head Chef.
