We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and proactive person to support skilled tradespeople and help keep construction and restoration sites running smoothly. The role involves general site duties, working independently and maintaining high standards in occupied residential and commercial properties. Key responsibilities • Assist tradespeople with day-to-day site activities, • Prepare work areas and maintain clean, organised workspaces, • Load, unload and move materials and equipment, • Carry out demolition, strip-out, clearance and waste removal work, • Support fire, flood and escape-of-water reinstatement projects, • Protect clients’ properties and maintain excellent housekeeping standards, • Use hand and power tools safely and correctly, • Assist with deliveries, collections and site logistics, • Identify tasks that need attention and use initiative to complete them, • Work professionally and respectfully around clients and homeowners Requirements • At least three years’ experience in construction or a similar hands-on role, • A strong work ethic and positive attitude, • Ability to work independently without constant supervision, • Good understanding of construction site safety and working practices, • Physical fitness and willingness to carry out manual work, • Full UK driving licence and reliable personal transport, • Fluent English communication skills, • Willingness to travel across Surrey, Sussex, Kent and surrounding areas, • CSCS card preferred We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, thinks ahead, works well as part of a team, supports tradespeople effectively and is dependable, punctual and professional. About the Role As our Care Coordinator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will coordinate care visits, support our care team, maintain high-quality standards, and ensure our clients receive safe, reliable, person-centred care. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate and manage daily staff rotas using our care management system., • Allocate care visits to ensure continuity of care and efficient service delivery., • Support the onboarding and induction of new care staff., • Liaise with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities., • Assist with care assessments, reviews, and care planning., • Monitor electronic care records and ensure documentation is accurate., • Respond to changes in care needs and coordinate emergency cover when required., • Conduct spot checks and quality assurance visits., • Support the Registered Manager in maintaining compliance with CQC regulations., • Report and escalate safeguarding concerns, incidents, and complaints appropriately., • Participate in the on-call rota as required. What We're Looking For Essential • Experience working within domiciliary/home care., • Previous experience as a Care Coordinator, Senior Care Worker, Team Leader, or similar role., • Excellent organisational and communication skills., • Strong IT skills and confidence using care management software., • Good knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards and safeguarding., • Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle., • Right to work in the UK. Desirable • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)., • Experience with rota planning and staff scheduling., • Experience carrying out care assessments and reviews., • Level 5 qualification (or willingness to work towards it).
