Job Summary
The Production Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all daily manufacturing operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of high-quality products. This role manages production planning, workforce performance, and operational processes to meet customer delivery requirements while maintaining compliance with quality, health & safety, and environmental standards. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Manufacturing Manager drives continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, supports new product introductions, optimises resource utilisation, reduces waste, and implements process improvements to enhance productivity, equipment reliability, and overall operational performance. The role also has responsibility for budget control, staffing, training, and resolving production issues through effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
