Food Processing Operative – Smoked Salmon Factory

Location: Chalk Farm, NW1


Working Hours:


  • Monday to Friday
  • 4:30am – 12:30pm (6 or 8 hour shift)

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Food Processing Operative to join our smoked salmon production team in Chalk Farm, NW1. This is a fast-paced role within a food manufacturing environment where quality, hygiene, and teamwork are essential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Trim, clean, debone and package smoked salmon.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in accordance with food safety regulations.
  • Accurately weigh products to ensure correct dispatch quantities.
  • Support other areas of production as required.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and quality at all times.

Requirements

  • Basic English language skills.
  • Valid passport or other acceptable ID with the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Previous experience in food production or manufacturing, including knife skills.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and carry out manual handling duties.
  • Reliable and punctual.
