We're looking for a reliable, organised Kitchen Team Member to join our hospitality team. Our kitchen is small and efficient, serving a menu of pub-style food in a board game café and D&D venue. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in preparing food to a high standard. What you'll be doing • Preparing and assembling food to order., • Using kitchen equipment including microwaves, grills and air fryers., • Following recipes and presentation standards., • Managing food orders during busy service periods, either independently or with one other team member., • Delivering food directly to guests' tables., • Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness throughout the shift., • Monitoring stock levels and reporting when supplies need replenishing., • Ensuring all food is prepared safely, with particular attention to allergens and dietary requirements. What we're looking for • Previous experience in a café, pub or hospitality kitchen is preferred but not essential., • A Food Hygiene and Allergen Awareness qualification, or willingness to complete training before starting., • Excellent organisation and time management., • Comfortable working independently and making decisions during busy periods., • Friendly, professional attitude when interacting with guests., • Ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining high standards.
