We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Worker to provide high-quality, personalized home care services to individuals in their own homes. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
• Administer medication accurately according to care plans and document all care provided diligently.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
• Support clients with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Drive clients to appointments, social outings, or errands safely while adhering to all traffic laws.
• Monitor and report any changes in health or behavior to relevant healthcare professionals promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in assisted living, home care, or nursing home environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of patient care techniques including dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, hospice care, and senior care practices.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and handle physical tasks safely.
• Valid driving license with a clean driving record for transportation duties.
• Certifications in first aid and medication administration are preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided.
• Strong communication skills with an empathetic approach to caregiving.
• Ability to manage behavior effectively and handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism.
