Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Gas Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and inspecting gas systems in both residential and domestic settings. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of gas appliances and infrastructure, providing peace of mind to our clients. Responsibilities • Install, service, and repair gas appliances and systems in accordance with safety standards and regulations, • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and prevent hazards, • Diagnose mechanical faults using specialized tools and techniques, • Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, plumbing supplies, carpentry tools, and assembly techniques to complete tasks efficiently, • Perform heavy lifting safely when handling equipment or materials during installations or repairs, • Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for each job performed, • Drive company vehicles responsibly to various job sites while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols Skills • Proficiency in welding, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical knowledge to handle diverse tasks effectively, • Strong familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques for precise work, • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in physically demanding environments, • Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting purposes, • Experience with commercial driving and understanding of vehicle safety regulations, • Knowledge of safety standards related to gas systems and equipment installation, • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs, • Must hold the appropriate cerfitification required are the following: ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, SKR1, HTR1., • Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
