Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver \n Location: Chelmsford, Essex \n Salary: Competitive \n Job Type: Permanent, Full Time \n About us: \n Philip Grahame International is a leading manufacturer of cable containment products. \n We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team as a HGV Class 2 Driver to deliver our cable containment products from our factory on the Springfield Business Park in Chelmsford, Essex. \n What we offer: \n\n • Monday - Friday only\n, • No nights out\n, • Breaks paid\n, • Average 50 hours per week\n, • Weekly Pay\n, • 28 days annual leave, including bank holidays\n, • Company pension\n, • Supplied PPE\n, • Yearly CPC Course to maintain licence\n\n About the role: \n In this role, you would be working as part of a team of 9 drivers, and reporting to the Lead Driver and Managing Director. \n Responsibilities: \n\n • Delivering our metal cable containment products to customers nationwide, predominantly around the M25\n, • Load and unload goods at customer sites, ensuring proper handling using PPE where appropriate\n, • Following delivery schedules and routes efficiently\n, • Conducting daily walkaround checks of the vehicles, and reporting any defects to the office\n, • Driving safely and responsibly, taking care of our vehicles\n, • Obey drivers hours legislation, and follow company policies and procedures\n\n About you: \n\n • A HGV Class 2 Licence with clean driving record\n, • Ability to load/unload goods\n, • Time management and organisational skills\n, • Communication and customer service skills\n\n Please click the APPLY button to submit your CV for this role. \n Candidates with the experience or relevant job titles of; Class 2, Driver, HGV Driver, HGV Class 2 Driver, HGV Class 2, HGV Class 1 Driver, Class 1 Driver, Logistics Driver, Transport Driver, Delivery Driver, Truck Driver, Lorry Driver may also be considered for this role.
