Project Manager – Commercial Kitchen ProjectsLocation: BasildonHours: Monday to Friday 9 am – 5 pmContract Type: Full-Time, PermanentSalary: Competitive Salary (depending on experience) \n About the Company \n Our client is a well-established UK-based design, manufacturing, and installation business specialising in bespoke commercial kitchens, bar installations, and food service equipment. Working with clients across the hospitality, leisure, retail, and catering sectors, they deliver high-quality, tailored solutions from initial concept through to final installation and aftercare. \n Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven background in the Commercial Kitchen and Catering Equipment industry to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and commercially aware Project Manager who has successfully managed commercial kitchen, catering equipment, or foodservice projects from conception through to completion. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Manage the full project lifecycle from project handover through to completion and aftercare.\n, • Lead and coordinate commercial kitchen and catering equipment projects, ensuring all milestones are achieved.\n, • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project, providing regular updates and managing expectations.\n, • Work closely with design, manufacturing, procurement, and installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery.\n, • Review and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and specifications, including both 2D and 3D designs.\n, • Attend client meetings and site visits to assess project requirements and monitor progress.\n\n Coordinate installation schedules and support site teams during project delivery. \n Monitor project budgets, costs, timelines, and resources to ensure successful outcomes \n Identify and resolve project risks, challenges, and variations in a proactive manner. \n Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and suppliers. \n Essential Requirements \n\n • Proven experience as a Project Manager within the Commercial Kitchen, Catering Equipment, Foodservice Design, or Kitchen Installation industry.\n, • Demonstrable track record of managing commercial kitchen projects from design through to installation and handover.\n, • Strong understanding of commercial catering equipment and kitchen fit-out projects.\n, • Ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.\n\n\n, • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously\n, • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills\n, • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment\n, • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required\n, • Experience working with hospitality, leisure, healthcare, education, or retail sector projects.\n, • Knowledge of commercial kitchen regulations, compliance requirements, and installation processes.\n, • Formal Project Management qualification (PRINCE2, APM, PMP or equivalent).\n\n Benefits: \n\n • Competitive salary dependent on experience.\n, • 28 days holiday including bank holidays\n, • Company pension scheme.\n, • Opportunity to join a growing and respected business with excellent long-term career prospects.\n, • Varied and interesting projects with leading clients across multiple sectors.\n\n INDPERM
