What you will do • Own the technical delivery of AI agent deployments at banks, from first scoping conversation to stable production, • Build the integration layer for each client, whether the deployment is API-based, in a private cloud, or on-premise, • Work directly with bank engineering, security, and operations teams, • Turn every client-specific solution into a reusable component, so the next deployment is faster than the last, • Tune agent behavior to each client's operational reality, then measure whether it reduced their workload, • Carry what you learn in the field back to product and engineering, because you will see the gaps first What you need • 4+ years of experience as a software engineer, forward deployed engineer, or solutions engineer, • English proficiency required, • Strong TypeScript and SQL, and comfort working across the stack when a deployment needs it, • Experience integrating with enterprise systems in financial services, payments, or another regulated industry, • Comfort with different deployment models, including API-based, private cloud, and on-premise, • Comfort in front of clients: you can run a technical working session with a bank's engineers, • A pragmatic instinct for what to build now, and what to make reusable, • Ownership mindset: you define the solution as much as you build it, and you do not wait to be unblocked, • Understanding of payments, disputes, or chargeback workflows is a strong plus, and genuine curiosity about them is required Conditions 100% remote. Now, let’s make sure you’re a good fit for the role: Responsibilities: • Responsible for designing and building AI-enabled services that support high-value Financial Crime scaling challenges., • The engineer combines strong .NET engineering foundations with practical experience using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, secure Azure hosting patterns and Retrieval Augmented Generation to build grounded, auditable and cost-aware solutions., • The engineer works on use cases aligned to the FinCrime Scaling backlog, including Screening, Cross Border Payments, Name Screening, KYC/KYB, Companies House alerts, Court Orders, Wider Exposure Reviews, Tactical Intelligence Reviews, iSAR Complex, Fraud and Transaction Monitoring., • The focus is on reducing manual effort, improving operational scalability, supporting faster and better-informed investigations, and delivering measurable ROI. Must-have Skills To be successful in this role, you must have: • Strong experience with LLMs, • Azure OpenAI for chat/completion capabilities., • Azure AI Foundry/AI Studio, • Azure AI Search for retrieval over approved knowledge sources., • Azure AI Search hybrid retrieval, semantic ranking and citation-backed responses., • When to use RAG rather than fine-tuning or a generic prompt., • How to structure source documents for retrieval., • Chunking, indexing and vectorisation concepts., • While Azure is our primary platform, the engineer should also understand the other models and frameworks we can use, along with the trade-offs between them., • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
