The person in this role will be responsible for translating trends and concepts into compelling, wearable collections that resonate with customers while meeting business objec tives. Working from concept through to final product, the designer will collaborate closely with buying, visual merchandising, production teams, and suppliers to ensure that each collection is both creatively strong and operationally fe asible. The position is suited for someone who is not only creatively driven but also highly collaborative and pragmatic, able to balance design vision with timelines, cost considerations, and product performance in the market. While the role remains deeply hands-on in the design process, its primary responsibility is to ensure that collections are commercially relevant, trend-aligned, and delivered efficiently from concept to pr oduction. The buyer will work closely with designers and suppliers to identify trends, select products, and develop commercially successful collections within a fast-fashion environment. The position requires strong market awareness, supplier management skills, and the ability to build balanced assortments that combine trend relevance, product creativity, and commercial performance. Key Responsibilities Build and manage product assortments for the assigned category, ensuring a strong balance between trend relevance, commercial performance, and price positioning. Define seasonal buying strategies based on market trends, historical sales data, and customer demand. Select products and develop collections in close collaboration with design teams and suppliers. Travel to suppliers and sourcing markets to review samples, identify new product opportunities, and develop exclusive items. Negotiate prices, quantities, and commercial conditions with suppliers to meet margin and cost targets. Monitor product performance and react quickly to sales trends, adjusting orders and product mix when needed. Work closely with merchandising and planning teams to optimize stock levels and product availability across stores and channels. Profile Requirements Proven experience as a Buyer or Product Manager within a fast-paced retail or fashion environment. Experience working with seasonal collections and managing product assortments across multiple categories or product lines. Strong understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and the competitive landscape. Experience working directly with suppliers, including product selection, development follow-up, and commercial negotiations. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and translate insights into buying decisions. Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and react quickly to market changes and product performance. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with design, merchandising, planning, and sourcing teams. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple collections and deadlines simultaneously. Good communication and negotiation skills. Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.

Prepare samples and fabrics required by customers in advance in the quarterly development season. Cooperate with customer designer meetings to assist customer designers in completing design drafts. After the development meeting, communicate with colleagues of the company business group and printmakers. Responsible for publishing lists and checking the style of sample clothes. Can visit Zara office in Coruna to keep in touch with their designer. Be responsible and hard-working, with good communication skills.
